Reaction to dispersal zone at the Rec

Comment given to Croydon Advertiser regarding the dispersal zone at the Rec.

New dispersal powers have certainly made a difference to Thornton Heath Recreation ground BUT unless they are part of wider strategy then I am not convinced perceptions of the park will permanently change.

Agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments Sasha. However, what's happening with the FOTHRG? No Brook clearance in October, no AGM, can't download the Consulation document from the website, noticeboards are full of ancient news, no newsletters.
No news on long running issues, for example, more litter bins.

Over to you.

AGM is in February, Graham. Latest news from Parks to be Proud of; the rec is apparently getting:

- cafe/kiosk
- bulb planting/new trees
- sports facilities
- play facilities
- benches

More soon.

Standing up for what matters
